Working on retrofit and expansion projects for such historic venues is not just a technical challenge—it’s an exercise in humility and respect for the legacy of football.
A new chapter unfolds for this legendary stadium that began its story in 1938. The project includes a new innovative standalone 360° upper tier, featuring 16.000 additional seats around the existing bowl, and a hybrid cable roof structure. This increases the capacity to around 101,000 passionate supporters. This makes it the second-largest football club stadium worldwide.
