A state hospital located in Santo André and part of the public health system in the region of Santo André, São Bernardo do Campo and São Caetano do Sul. It is maintained by the São Paulo State Government and managed by ABC/OSS Foundation. Related to the ABC Medicine University, its structure is made available for teaching activities and contributes in training healthcare professionals.

The new project includes all the specialties provide by a clinic’s hospital, covering about 30.000 m² of built area and more than 300 beds. It was developed on an unfinished concrete structure that had been derelict for almost 30 years. The original project, design by the architect Rino Levi, was entirely overhauled in order to feature changes occurred in healthcare activities as well as the region’s new requirements. Landscaping and Visual Communication projects were also developed.
