2012
Sao Paulo, Brazil

The entertainment industry has grown significantly in Brazil, as one of the world’s major cities and the largest in Brazil, São Paulo welcomes the greatest contingent of visitors related to events, conventions and shows, and the lack of appropriate venues to house the numerous sporting events. Designed for São Paulo’s Corinthians Sport Club, the arena is located in the club’s current property on Marginal Pinheiros Avenue, an important artery between the city’s districts and neighboring municipalities, and an excellent accessible region.

Arena São Jorge is designed for a public of 15.000 spectators and suits for several kinds of sports as well as other medium-scale shows and events, with structure and flexibility as an international modern indoor arena, and a variety of seats class and operating flexibility. VIP facilities such as boxes, premium seats and ”log boxes" provide first-class services, in addition to lounges, retail areas, restaurants and private accesses. In order to reduce deployment costs, parking spots were planned in an attached parking garage building for over 1.500 cars, totaling 2.000, as well as stores and bars on the ground floor.
