The Campos do Jordão Railway (EFCJ) operated a 47-km railway system based on tourism connecting two tourist venues, Piracuama Park (Pindamonhangaba) and Capivari Park (Campos do Jordão). On the transfer of EFCJ’s management to the state (Secretary of Metropolitan Transport - STM) the Capivari Railway’s Park Total Redevelopment and Restructuring Project in a partnership with EBEI Engineering complies a requalification program of the stations, providing accessibility, improving boarding and alighting conditions - including of the existed cable car – upgrade of the workshops, in addition to urban improvements of Águas Claras and Capivari parks, enabling these facilities to increase their railway operations as well as to develop contemplation and recreation activities, giving opportunity encouraging retail activities increasing their railway non-operating revenues.
