There will be five structures on Marginal Tietê – at Freguesia do Ó, Limão, Piqueri, Thomas Edison and Vila Charlot bridges and another five on Marginal Pinheiros – at Cidade Jardim, Cidade Universitária, Itapiúna, Jaguaré and Panorama bridges. With the architectural project by Fernandes Arquitetos and the SBP - Schlaich Bergermann und partner - structural project´s proposal, these structures are parallel to the existing bridges providing a mobility, connection and guarantee the continuity of the already planned bike lanes. The structures will have a great visual impact on the city landscape, and besides promoting comfort and safety conditions, these bike lanes must be fully integrated in the urban scape and nearby surroundings, which include buildings, streets, sidewalks, urban spaces and other already existing bike lanes.
